This month, Pescod Square celebrates its 15th birthday. To commemorate the occasion, the shopping centre is hosting a schedule of spooktacular activities; including a Trick or Treat Craft Workshop on Wednesday 23rd October and a weekend-long party on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October.
What’s more, there’s also £200 worth of prizes to be won!
Boston’s Premier Shopping Destination
Pescod Square Shopping Centre is Boston’s premier shopping destination; linking Wide Bargate and Mitre Lane. From fabulous fashion to heavenly homeware and got-to-have gadgets to tempting treats, the shopping venue’s range of stores and eateries are the perfect place for retail therapy.
Developed in 2004, the Square houses over 19 retailers. As part of the original development, Pescod Hall – a listed timber-framed building built in 1450 – was moved some 20 metres to its current location, fully restored and brought back into commercial use.
The shopping centre continues to be a thriving part of the community and has, over the years, won many awards – including a BCSC Gold Award, Civic Trust Award and continues to achieve high accolades at Lincolnshire in Bloom.
To commemorate Pescod Square’s 15th birthday, the shopping centre is hosting a weekend-long party, in association with Endeavour FM, on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October. The event will see music, games, competitions and the opportunity to win over £200 worth of prizes via the ‘Fang-tastic Wheel of Fortune’!
What’s more, as part of the festivities, Pescod Square is giving away limited edition commemorative tote bags when visitors spend £15 or more in the centre’s stores over the celebratory weekend.
Trick or Treat Crafting
Prior to the wicked birthday weekend, Pescod Square is also hosting a FREE Trick or Treat Craft Workshop on Wednesday 23rd October. The event, taking place from 10am to 3pm, gives little devils over the age of 3 the chance to demonstrate their creativity and make new friends.
Trained crafting supervisors will be on hand throughout the event to offer creative direction and guidance.
Lisa Dawson, Pescod Square’s Centre Manager, says: “Pescod Square has been providing a safe, friendly and varied shopping environment for the people of Boston for fifteen years and we’re delighted to celebrate this milestone with them. The spooktacular activities we have planned are our way of ‘giving back’ to all the loyal customers that have frequented the shopping centre over the years. With plenty of fang-tastic prizes up for grabs and eye-popping entertainment on the schedule, it’s set to be a horror-tastic half term week in Boston. We can’t wait!”
