RHS Britain in Bloom is one of Europe’s largest horticultural campaigns that has helped cities, towns and villages to be improved since 1964.
Over 1,600 cities, towns and villages take part each year and focus on horticultural and environmental achievements as well as community participation.
This includes caring for local parks, planting trees and shrubs, organising clean up events and helping to run school garden projects.
Most projects are run by volunteers, which makes Britain in Bloom a wonderful campaign for people to come together and look after their community.
We’re very proud to announce that Boston, which is one of the towns that participated in Britain in Bloom has just won their Gold Award for a second year running!
Pescod Square takes part by showing off displays and features hanging baskets during the summer.
