EGG-CITEMENT AT THE SQUARE!
On Saturday 30th March
we invited shoppers to enjoy some eggs-cellent fun on the lead up to Easter. A fun bus provided an environment for little ones to get up to some shell-shocking antics via a soft play area and the opportunity to be transformed into happy bunnies thanks to our face painters! An Easter Craft Workshop was also located in the Square. All activities on the day were free, but donations were given to Christian Aid.
As well as keeping the kiddies entertained there was a variety of craft stalls situated in the malls which were choc-a-block with Easter goodies, sweet treats and gorgeous gift ideas. All of which proved extremely popular on the day and provided shoppers with some great eggs-cellent seasonal inspiration! To see all the pictures from the event click here.
In association with
the event, we also invited our Facebook followers to 'like and share' an Easter themed picture on our page for the chance to win a £100 Easter Hamper! Kylie Norton was the lucky winner and was presented with her prize by Andy Pottle, Pescod's Centre Manager.

They will be providing customers with the chance to purchase purse bells to help deter thieves from stealing them. Purse theft across the UK is rife and it has proven that more thieves are becoming opportunists. ALAN TITCHMARSH VISITS

On Thursday 24th November, Pescod Square welcomed author and TV personality Alan Titchmarsh to Waterstones where he signed copies of his new book 'The Haunting'. Crowds queued for hours along the Square for their chance to meet the star, get a copy of his latest literary offering and to have a personally signed copy.
The Haunting is a story of love and betrayal, intrigue and murder.
How can the mysterious disappe
arance of Anne Flint in 1816 and the drowning of a young girl in a chalk stream so long ago possibly affect the life of a schoolteacher Harry Flint some two centuries later? Having left his job and with a failed marriage behind him, Harry begins to research his ancestors. The deeper he digs, the more he realises that the past is closer than he had ever imagined. The Haunting demonstrates that people aren't always what they seem and that the past is no more predictable than the future...
