ELLEN BAGS £50!
Ellen Franklin from Boston has become our latest 'In The Bag' winner! Ellen entered our January/February eZine competition to win £50 worth of Bonmarche vouchers and was presented with her prize by Andy Pottle (Pescod Square's Centre Manager). "I'm so delighted to have won and I can't wait to put my vouchers to good use!" said Ellen.
LOVE IS IN THE AIR!
At the beginning of February, Pescod Square Shopping Mall teamed up with Thomas Cook to give shoppers the chance to win £500 worth of holiday vouchers as part of their Valentine’s Day competition!
Pescod Square was inundated with competition entries, receiving hundreds from the local area and via the Centre’s website.
Rachel Hilton, from Bicker near Boston, was selected as the prize winner and was presented with her vouchers from Andy Pottle, Pescod Square Centre Manager, along with Phil Hudson, Thomas Cook Branch Manager, and other members of Thomas Cook staff from the Pescod Square branch. Rachel said: “I’m so excited that I’ve won and I’m really looking forward to putting the vouchers to good use! I can’t wait to have a lovely break away.”
WENDY BAGS £50!
On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December Pescod Square hosted its very own Festive Fun weekend. And in conjunction with the event the centre gave shoppers the chance to win £50 worth of shopping vouchers! Wendy Shields from Boston was the lucky winner and was presented with her Next vouchers by Andy Pottle, Pescod Square’s Centre Manager.
LOTS UNDER THE HAMMER!
Over the past year Pescod Square has been helping its shoppers to bag a bargain via their online auction.
From perfume to paintball vouchers and iPod Nanos to Next vouchers, there’s been plenty of great items up for grabs at knock down prices! Everything that went under the hammer was donated by Pescod’s retailers and other local businesses with the aim of raising funds for the Butterfly Hospice Trust.
The final auction was hosted at the end of March and the total proceeds raised from all auctions came to £1,337! A cheque was presented to the Butterfly Hospice Trust by Andy Pottle, Pescod Square’s Centre Manager, at the beginning of April. Andy said: “It’s great that we’ve been able to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause and we look forward to helping the Trust in the future with other ventures”.
